Now that you’ve nearly done all your revision and maybe even done a practice exam or two you will hopefully feel very prepared for your exam.
So what do you do now? Now is the time to make you are physically and mentally primed for your exam.
The normal rules apply in this case – eat healthy, get regular exercise and make sure you take care of yourself in the lead up to the exam period.
You will also want to take care of yourself mentally. After all the mental exercise of studying for the semester and revision as well, you will need a short break so you can perform optimally during the exam.
Also, if you are doing multiple exams you will need short breaks in between them too to give you time to mentally decompress.
How you do this will depend on how many exams you have, how many commitments you have outside of study and how much of a break you have between when revision ends and your exam period starts.
For example, if you have an exam on the first day of the exam period, you don’t get much of a break. However, if you are fortunate enough to have your first exam in the second week, well then you are going to get a break to recharge your mental batteries.
Remember, preparation begins long before the day of the exam, so the more preparation you can do now the better you will be able to perform when you get to exam day.
